The all-region/district awards are the second and third of Masin's collegiate career, and they come on the heels of his second consecutive first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference award, which was announced last month. In 2013, Masin earned third-team All-Great Lakes Region honors from d3hoops.com.

Masin led Wittenberg in numerous categories for a second straight year in 2013-14, including scoring at 15.4 points per game and rebounds at 9.1 per game. Those totals were good for third and second, respectively, in the NCAC, as Masin piled up 13 double-doubles on the season. A starter in all 29 games, Masin also led the team in blocked shots with 13 and field goal percentage at .563.

For his career, Masin piled up 1,056 points. He stands 27th in program history in career scoring.

A biology major, Masin is active around campus and in the Springfield community. He has served as a Peer Helper and an Orientation Assistant during New Student Days, and he is active with Athletes for Christ. In addition, Masin has contributed a significant number of community service hours to the Springfield chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

The Tigers finished the 2013-14 season with records of 21-8 overall and 13-5 in the NCAC, good for a three-way tie for second place in the regular season standings. After a loss in the NCAC Tournament championship game, Wittenberg earned its third at-large berth in the last four years to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Tigers bowed out of the national competition in the first round with a 66-51 loss to Calvin.
