Ticket Information Released For Wittenberg Men's Basketball Game Against Wooster

Springfield, Ohio — The Wittenberg University Tigers and the College of Wooster Fighting Scots, two of the most successful men's basketball programs in all of NCAA Division III, will renew their spirited North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) rivalry at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, in Wittenberg's Pam Evans Smith Arena, and tickets are once again in demand.

Because Wittenberg officials anticipate another large and enthusiastic crowd, it is necessary to make several changes to the Department of Athletics' standard ticket policy. All seating will be reserved, with no general admission for this game. Wittenberg faculty and staff members planning to attend the game must pick up tickets in advance by showing Wittenberg ID. Each faculty and staff member is entitled to two tickets, which can be picked up between 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, in Legends Lobby of the HPER Center.

During the pre-sale, additional tickets may be purchased for $8 apiece. This pre-sale is open to the general public. On game day, tickets will go on sale at 2 p.m.

Wittenberg students also must pick up tickets in advance of game day. Tickets will be distributed to students who present a valid Wittenberg ID between 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, Thursday, Feb. 10, and Friday, Feb. 11, in the Center Dining Room of the Benham-Pence Student Center.

Heading into a key NCAC game at Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday, Feb. 9, Wittenberg has won 11 of its last 12 games to improve to 15-5 overall and 11-1 in the conference, good for a first-place tie with the Scots. The Tigers are ranked 25th in the nation by d3hoops.com, while Wooster is ranked fourth with records of 20-1 overall and 11-1 in conference play, heading into a road game Wednesday at Oberlin.
