The Tigers opened the 2002-03 season with a 56-45 win over the Britons of Albion College. Wittenberg was lead by senior Stephanie Campbell with 15 points and 4 assists. Amber Bishop added 13 points. Meghan Bruggeman, Kate Rolf, and Kari Kitchen chipped in 6, 5, and 5 points, respectively. The Tigers advanced to the Championship game and will face the Otterbein Cardinals.

The Britons were lead by Sarah Caskey with 11 points and 4 assists. Jocelyn Zappala and Erin Hearn added 8 and 7 points, respectively. Zappala also lead Albion with 6 total rebounds on the night. Albion will face St. Thomas University in the consolation game.
