Wittenberg University opened the tournament by shattering the
previous record for 3 point field goals made in game with 18.
Breaking the previous record of 11, set in 1996. Rod Emmons went
4-8, Peter Walker went 4-5, Danny Brywcxynski went 3-3, Kenny Molz
was 1-1, and Brady Hoane went 2-2 from behind the arc. Leading
scorers for the Tigers were Walker with 17, Brywcxynski with 15,
Kenny Brady had 13, and Emmons finished with 12 on the night. B.J.
Harris brought in 9 rebounds for Wittenberg. The Tigers advanced to
face Ohio Dominican in the Championship game.
Alma College was lead by Rob Taylor with 15 points and 6 rebounds.
Carlton Hill added 10 points for the Scots. Scoring for the Scots
was spread around evenly with 9 others contributing. The Scots will
face John Carroll in the Consolation game.
