Lisa Barnard joined the Wittenberg field hockey and women's lacrosse coaching staffs in 2011 following four years as a student-athlete at the University of New Haven.

A two-year Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative at New Haven, Barnard played four years of women's lacrosse for the Chargers before graduating with a bachelor of science degree in forensic science in May 2011.

Barnard has coached ages spanning from elementary school to high school at camps throughout Connecticut. For three years, she served as assistant director of the Charger REC Camp in West Haven, Conn., and in 2011 took the reins as head coach of Eli Youth Lacrosse.

Her resume also includes volunteer work with West Haven's Washington Elementary School 5th grade program, Bridgeport Youth Lacrosse, and multiple youth camps and clinics.
