Olivia Shagam joined the coaching staff for Wittenberg Field Hockey team in August 2017 after spending a successful career playing at Central Michigan University. 

In her two seasons as Assistant Coach of the Wittenberg Field Hockey team, she has helped guide the team to an overall record of 21-17 and a North Coast Athletic Conference record of 17-11. 

Shagam was part of the Chippewas 2014 MAC Season Championship run. Playing under the tutelage of Molly Pelowski at Central Michigan, Shagam collected two MAC All-Academic awards and was named to the NFHCA DI National Academic Team three times. 

In addition to her time with the Chippewas, Shagam has spent time coaching for USA Field Hockey Futures Program Region 10 and Windy City Field Hockey.

Shagam graduated from Central Michigan in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science: Kinesiology with a minor in Athletic Coaching.
