Field Hockey Adds Another Shutout Win

Richmond, IN-The Tigers took on the Earlham College Quakers and came away with their fifth shutout and 7th win of the season, scoring 4 times in the process. 

Just 5 minutes into the game, Victoria Pipinich opened the scoring off of an assist from Lauren Neutzling. To start the second quarter, Wittenberg extended their lead to 2 with a goal from Maddy Krasnow. 

Ten minutes into the third quarter, Krasnow found the back of the net once again on an assist from Katie Webber to extend the lead once again. Just a minute later, Emmy Kuijten wrapped up the scoring with a goal of her own to make the final score 4-0 with both teams going scorless in the fourth quarter. 

Leaders-Krasnow led the team in shots with 9, shots on goal with 7 and goals with two. Neutzling and Webber each logged an assist and Izzy Thompson saved the only two shots on goal against the Tigers. 

Notables-The Tigers had more shots than the Quakers, 19-5, and had 4 corners to Earlham's 2.
