Springfield, OH- Wittenberg took on the Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops in a hard-fought defensive matchup at Edwards-Mauer field.

Ohio Wesleyan scored early in the game, but after that goal, both teams were held scoreless until halftime, where it was only a 1-0 lead for the Battling Bishops. The teams held each other scoreless through the 3rd quarter and it wasn't until the last ten minutes of the game when Ohio Wesleyan scored their second goal to make the final score 2-0.

Notables: All three of the Tigers penalty corners came in the second half and held Ohio Wesleyan to less shots in the second half than they had in either of the first 2 quarters.

Leaders: Caitlin Archdeacon had a great game in goal, saving 14 of the 16 shots on goal against her. Maddy Krasnow led the team in shots with two and five different players had at least one shot on goal.

Up Next: The Tigers will play again on the road against Earlham on Saturday, September 30 at 12:00 PM.
