Tigers Come Up Short on the Road

Memphis, TN- Wittenberg traveled to Memphis Tennessee to take on the Rhodes Lynx on Friday evening and came away with a 3-0 loss. 

Both teams came out playing great defense in the first quarter and after one, the score was tied at zero. In the second quarter, Rhodes scroed the first goal of the contest and ended the half up one. The scored stayed the same through three, but Rhodes scored twice again in the 4th. 

Notables: Wittenberg had less fouls than Rhodes, 36 to their 43. Caitlin Archdeacon played the full game in goal for the Tigers and four different players ended with at least one shot and totaled 3 shots on goal.  

Leaders: Lucy Repepi led the team in shots with three, two of which were on goal. In goal, Archdeacon saved 12 of 15 shots on goal against her. 

Up Next: The Tigers will play again on the road on Sunday, September 17th against the Sewanee Tigers in Memphis Tennesee.
