Fall In Third Quarter Battle

Springfield, OH- Wittenberg returned to Edwards-Maurer Field to compete against the Kenyon Owls in a non-conference match-up. The Tigers who were coming off of a two game win streak looked to improve it to three but were unable after a close 1-0 loss to the Owls.

Wittenberg held Kenyon until the third quarter when the Owls were able to get on the board. The Tigers were able to draw nine penalty corner for attempts on goal, shot attempts were taken by five different Tigers being led by Katie Webber.

NCAC Leaders: Caroline Cairns sits at number seven in the NCAC for shots taken with a total of 16 and number nine for shots on goal with 11. Katie Webber sits in the top ten for goals in the NCAC at number three with five on the season. Also in the top ten for goals is Mazzulli at number six with four. Webber and Mazzulli also land in the top ten for points on the year at number three and five along with Meredith Johnson at six.
