Tigers Get Redemption Over Wooster

Springfield, OH- The Tigers took on the evenly matched 3-5 Wooster Scots on Edwards-Maurer Field. Wittenberg was looking for revenge after last year's loss and an earlier 4-2 loss this season. The Tigers were able to come away with a 2-0 win over the Scots.

Wittenberg was able to match the pace of the Scots in the midfield from the start of the game and took advantage of their opportunities early. Wittenberg's Caroline Ford was able to get things started in the first quarter with a goal at 6:48.

The Tigers went into the half up 1-0 and continued to challenge the Scots into the second half. Alex Reed was able to add to the Tigers score in the second half with a goal at 40:01 to put Wittenberg up by 2.

Wittenberg led the game in shots and penalty corners. Emma Hurguy was able to keep Wooster down with 5 saves for the Tigers.
