Julia Wickham Records Career High 4 Goals

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Tigers' loss to Wooster over the weekend obviously upset the team, and they took it out on Earlham tonight, led by junior forward Julia Wickham. Wickham recorded a career-high four goals and one assist on the evening as Wittenberg rolled over Earlham, 8-0.

The Tigers didn't waste any time putting points on the board. Senior Blair Ufer slapped in a goal just three minutes into the game. After Ufer's goal, Wickham took it from there, scoring the next two goals to help the Tigers go into halftime up 3-0.

Wittenberg didn't show any signs of backing off in the second half. Sophomore Katy Barrett added two goals for the Tigers, assisted by sophomore Rachael Dunn and Wickham. Freshman Claire Johnson chipped in with her second career goal for Wittenberg. Wickham then finished off the Quakers with two more goals for the Tigers.

The Tigers hit the road as they travel to Kenyon Saturday for another NCAC match up at 1 p.m. It will be a key game in the conference standings as the Tigers currently hold a one-game lead with two to play.
