Taylor Housewright

Taylor Housewright joined Wittenberg's football coaching staff in 2015.

He arrived at Wittenberg after spending the previous two seasons at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He coached defensive backs for one season and quarterbacks for one season. He was involved in all facets of the football program at Miami, which competes in NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision.

A native of Ashland, Ohio, Housewright was a standout quarterback for Ashland University from 2008-12. During that time, he earned GLIAC player of the Year honors following the 2012 season. He was a first-team All-America honoree and finished fifth in voting for the prestigious Harlon Hill Trophy, considered the Heisman Trophy of NCAA Division II.

After graduating from Ashland in 2012 and participating in the Cincinnati Bengals rookie mini-camp as a quarterback in 2012, Housewright coached Ashland University Summer Football Camps before moving to Oxford to work at Miami.
