Former wide receiver Brendon Cunningham remains a part of the Tiger football program in 2014 as he transitions into a coaching role as a volunteer assistant coach working with the tight ends.

The Kettering, Ohio, native, and graduate of Fairmont High School, climbed into the Wittenberg record books in multiple places over the course of a career that included four letters and the 2013 Dave Maurer award, which honors the team’s most outstanding offensive player. His name is scattered throughout the program record books, including entries at second in career receiving yards (2,875), second in touchdown receptions (31) and third in receptions (173) and sixth in all-purpose yardage (3,728).

For his tremendous on-field work, Cunningham was named D3football.com second team all-region, OhioCollegeFootball.com first-team All-Ohio and first team All-North Coast Athletic Conference in 2013, after second team All-NCAC and third-team All-Ohio recognition in 2012.
