Springfield, OH - The Tigers took to the field for the last time this season going up against the Hilbert Hawks, and it was the Tigers who finished the season strong with a dominant 56-8 victory. With this win, Wittenberg sends their 2022 seniors off with a win and head into the offseason with something to build on looking forward ahead towards the 2023 season.

Before kickoff, the Tigers celebrated the senior class which included Jake Saus, Gene Nobles II, Christain Sweet, Brysen Dykes, Dane Flatter, Drew Sterett, Seth Jones, Bryce Anderson, Jaden Sarragua, Justin Maynard, Matt Render, Nick Bowman, Mark Pratt, Frank Kostzer, Kacey Prospere, Justin Chambers, Jeremiah Mensah, Mike Knock, Levi Morrison, and Grant Hollinger during pregame festivities. The excitement and energy of the pregame ceremonies led into the first half of play by the senior Tigers. Coming out of the half, the Tigers continued to look dominant, with plays from all parts of the roster stepping up in the last game of the season, quarterback Max Milton in his first play from scrimmage took a 10-yard run into the endzone, and defensively with a combination of pass rush and great secondary play, the Tigers were able to take an interception back for a touchdown, securing the victory for the Tigers.
