Former Tiger Quarterback Pens Memoir About Life At Wittenberg

Springfield, Ohio – A trip down memory lane for former Wittenberg University quarterback Bill Hauser, class of 1978, has turned into a memoir titled Seasons in the Sun: Small College Football, Music and Growing Up in the ‘70s that is now available on Amazon.com and Xlibris.com.

Hauser, a three-year letterwinner and two-year starter under center for the Tigers, self-published the book in May 2014. It recently gained the attention of editors of the popular website D3football.com, who wrote:

“If you remember the 1970s – the music, the events of the time and the college experience – you should enjoy this book. If you are a fan of Division III football, you likely will enjoy the intimate look at what the game was like in the 70s.”

Seasons in the Sun opens with Hauser driving from his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Readers learn about his experiences as both a student and an athlete at Wittenberg, including his love of music and the lessons he learned and training he gained on the gridiron and in the classroom.
