Springfield, Ohio — Wittenberg University football standout Josh McKee, class of 2012 from New Carlisle, Ohio, has earned third-team All-America honors from d3football.com.

The award comes on the heels of McKee's second straight first-team All-Great Lakes Region award announced earlier this month. McKee, a three-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) honoree, was a second-team All-American in 2010, and he becomes the first Tiger to earn multiple All-America awards in the 12-year history of the d3football.com All-America program.

A year after McKee set Wittenberg and NCAC records with 1,386 receiving yards and school records with 67 receptions and 16 receiving touchdowns, he nearly duplicated the feat. McKee, who now holds the Wittenberg and NCAC records for career receiving yards, receptions and touchdowns, topped the team and conference in 2011 with 1,077 yards and 12 touchdowns on 62 receptions, which tied for second in the final statistics.

McKee finished his career ranked in the top 15 in NCAA Division III history with 4,022 receiving yards and 46 receiving touchdowns, based on totals prior to the 2011 season.

Seth Parker, class of 2012, and Sean Williams, class of 2013, were also honored with All-America honors from Beyond Sports Network. Williams picked up third team recognition while Parker was named honorable mention.

The Tigers finished with records of 8-2 overall and 5-1 in the NCAC, good for second place in the final standings in 2011.
