Q & A with Dr. Gary, Featuring Terrance Crowe, Football

Q: How would you describe the athletic culture/environment at Wittenberg?

It’s a positive, hardworking, and dedicated environment. Being a student-athlete at Witt is not an easy task, so it takes motivated individuals to be a part of our community.

Q: What is your most memorable sports moment at Witt?

Playoff win vs Thomas More. The game went into 4OT.

Q: What made Wittenberg your choice as opposed to other schools?

I believed in Coach Fincham and what he was telling me during the recruiting process. He’s the only coach that left a lasting impression after the first meeting.

Q: Where is your favorite place to eat on campus? (CDR, Post, etc.)

Post

Q: what are you studying at Witt and why does it interest you?

Business Management. I’ve always enjoyed being a leader, so it just was the perfect fit for me.

Q: If you could play any other sport, what would it be and why?

Baseball. I grew up playing travel ball and use to have a passion for it.

Q: Who is your favorite Wittenberg athlete and why?

Deshawn Sarley. That guy might not the biggest, strongest, or fastest, but no one will outwork him. His love for the game of football is hard to match, I’m fortunate to have a teammate like Sarley.

Q: What does it mean to you to be at Wittenberg Tiger?

Excellence. No one here settles for second place.

Q: What kind of music do you listen to before a game, tournament, etc. (Favorite artists, songs, albums)

Rap music. (Gunna, Lil Baby, Lud Foe, Key Glock, Mozzy, Migos, Travis Scott, Moneybagg Yo, G Herbo, Don Q, Future, Lil Yachty)

Q: How did you start in your sport?

I started playing for the Springfield Broncos at the age of 6. My dad and uncles loved football, so I was just born into it.

Q: Who professionally is your favorite player in your sport?

Antonio Brown
