Corey Farnbauch ’16, Baseball, Marketing major

Q: What is your favorite class experience/ professor experience at Wittenberg?

A: My favorite class experience I’ve had here at Wittenberg was my freshmen year. I was in professor Gradwohl’s class when we went to Promise Neighborhood and worked in the community garden. We planted flowers and bushes to make the school and community look nicer.

Q: What is your most memorable sports moment at Witt?

A: My most memorable sports moment at Witt was my freshmen year of baseball, we played Aurora who was ranked at the time and we won in the bottom of the tenth with a walk off. We really came together as a team and everyone contributed even us young freshman who were just learning the ropes of the program.

Q: Why do you enjoy being a Wittenberg Tiger?

A: I enjoy being a Wittenberg Tiger because I love being apart of a community where everyone supports and encourages others to be successful. Being at Witt feels like home and we are a big supportive family.

Q: To you, what does it mean to Tiger Up?

A: Tiger Up to me means to always give 100% and work your hardest in the classroom and on the field.

Q: What do you see yourself doing after Witt?

A: I see myself moving back to Columbus and pursing a job in the sports marketing or sales world.

Q: After your time at Wittenberg, how will you pass the light on to others?

A: I will pass the light on to others by continuing to show the Tiger Up tradition in everything I do after school, and show that I am proud to be Tiger.

Q: How did you get involved in your sport? (When did you get involved in your sport? Why did you get involved in your sport?)

A: I always had a passion for all sports as a kid but I fell in love with baseball at a young age. I loved to play defense and dive around and get dirty, that was always the best part and I never wanted to give that up. I can’t remember a summer were I wasn’t playing or practicing.
