NCAC — Men's Soccer

Wittenberg senior forward Brian Boutin (Mount Vernon, Ohio/Mount Vernon) led the Tigers to three consecutive shutouts by more than doubling his career scoring total (previously three) with four goals on the week, including one against Mount St. Joseph and Defiance and two against Earlham. The superlative output helped Wittenberg to its best start (5-2-1) since 2008.

Jane Hopkinson-Wood

NCAC — Women's Golf

Wittenberg freshman Jane Hopkinson-Wood (Pottstown, Pa./The Hill School) led the Tigers in a pair of events last week. She opened the week on Monday by finishing second out of 64 golfers at the St. Mary’s O’Brien Invitational with a 36-hole score of 153 (73-80). Hopkinson-Wood then finished in a three-way tie for first over the weekend at the DePauw Small College Classic after accumulating 156 strokes (76-80). The Tigers won the O’Brien Invitational with a team score of 634 (307-327) and finished third at the DPU Small College Classic with 647 strokes (323-324).
