Kara Seidenstricker

NCAC — Volleyball (Sept. 15, 2014)

Wittenberg junior Kara Seidenstricker (London, Ohio/Jonathan Alder) led the ninth-ranked Tigers to a straight-set upset win over defending national champion and top-ranked Calvin as part of a 3-1 weekend at their own Fall Classic in Springfield. Seidenstricker smashed nine kills and recorded a .381 hitting percentage against Calvin and also added 18 kills in a 3-1 win over Ohio Northern. In total, she collected 64 kills (4.0/set), 49 digs, nine blocks (2 solo, 7 asst.) and seven service aces in 16 total sets at the Wittenberg Fall Classic.

Sam Geise

NCAC — Men's Golf (Sept. 15, 2014)

Wittenberg sophomore Sam Geise (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) finished second out of 80 competitors at the Rosecrans-Maurer Invitational after shooting back-to-back rounds of 71 on the Par-72 course for a 36-hole score of 142. Geise entered the tournament as an individual competitor.
