Wittenberg freshman Jane Hopkinson-Wood (Pottstown, PA/The Hill School) had one of the best weeks of her young collegiate career, collecting medalist honors at the Joe Duncan Invitational in Tennessee with 146 strokes (74-72) and finishing second overall at the Washington (MO) Spring Invitational with a two-day total of 149 (77-72). Her 72’s at both events are the lowest 18-hole scores in program history, while the 146 in Tennessee surpassed the program’s previous 36-hole standard of 150 set by current junior Maggie Smith (Cincinnati, OH/Sycamore) in 2013.
