Florence, Lacy Pick Up NCAC Athlete Of The Week Honors

NCAC — Swimming & Diving (Nov. 4, 2013)

Wittenberg sophomore Dani Lacy (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Collegiate School) led the Tigers to a 144.5-82.5 road victory over Ohio Wesleyan by winning the 50 free (25.61), 100 free (55.05) and swimming the anchor leg on the winning 400 free relay (3:48.38).

Reed Florence

NCAC — Football - Offensive (Nov. 4, 2013)

Wittenberg senior quarterback Reed Florence (South Charleston, Ohio/Southeastern) helped the Tigers retain the Ye Olde Skull trophy by defeating NCAC-rival Ohio Wesleyan, 55-17, on Saturday in Springfield. In the victory, Florence completed 23-of-29 pass attempts for 357 yards and three scores to go along with 58 rushing yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. His career total of 62 touchdown passes is now one more than National College Football Hall of Famer Charlie Green’s 61 set in the 1964 season.
