Andrew Fuss, Jack Uecker Named NCAC Athletes Of The Week

The North Coast Athletic Conference today announced their Athlete of the Week awards, and two Tiger student-athletes were honored as described in the league's weekly sports releases. Wittenberg freshman attacker Andrew Fuss (New Albany, OH/Gahanna Lincoln) lifted the Tigers to a 9-7 comeback win against Saint Vincent last week, scoring the game-winning goal in a fourth quarter rally, pushing the team to a 4-1 overall record heading into the start of conference action next week. In all, Fuss registered four goals and one assist for five points in the win.

Jack Uecker, Men's Golf

Jack Uecker

Wittenberg junior Jack Uecker (Akron, OH/St. Vincent-St. Mary) was the individual medalist with an 18-hole total of 75 strokes to lead the Tigers to the team championship at The Members Invitational with 309 strokes. Wittenberg hosted the three team event that was hosted at the Golf Club at Indigo Run in Hilton Head, South Carolina, on March 7th.
