Career Synopsis

  • Began career in athletics as Marketing & Operations Intern for the Southern States Athletic Conference in April of 2009; promoted to full-time position in 2011 ad Director of Marketing and Operations; later appointed to Assistant Commissioner in 2012 and also served as Interim Commissioner in 2013
  • Served as Athletic Events & Facilities Coordinator from 2013-2014 at the University of West Florida
  • Immediately prior to arrival at Wittenberg, served as Associate Athletic Director at Loyola University New Orleans from 2014-2016
  • Arrived at Wittenberg in July of 2016 and was named Assistant Athletic Director – Facilities & Events

Administrative Highlights

Southern States Athletic Conference

  • Served as lead administrator to commissioner in key areas of conference operations including but not limited to: general administration, corporate sponsorship, marketing, event management, game scheduling, and management of conference website and social media outlets
    • Organized and coordinated all conference championship tournaments; worked closely with several CVB’s and Sports Councils/Commissions to negotiate contracts and host several neutral-site SSAC Conference Championships to cities along the Gulf Coast and Southeastern Region.
    • Served as coordinating producer for conference’s television show which airs in 11M households
  • Produced approximately 70 live webcasts of conference sponsored sporting events at member institutions
  • Lead administrator for 2012 NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championships in Montgomery, AL

University of West Florida

  • Provided day-to-day operational support for 14 NCAA Division II sport programs; responsible for all game-day/event operations of home athletic events 
  • Served as tournament director for both the Gulf South Conference Volleyball and Soccer Championships and for the NCAA South Regional Tennis and Soccer Championships

Loyola University New Orleans

  • Coordinated day-to-day operations for department of intercollegiate athletics including 17 varsity sports, 24 coaches and staff members, 185 student athletes and a budget of approximately $1.6 million; supervised all aspects of game/athletic event management
  • Direct sport supervision of baseball, men’s and women’s golf, and men’s and women’s tennis
    • Supervised department’s athletic communications office including website, social media, media guides, newsletters, news releases, statistics, conference reporting, and publicity
    • Collaborate with Institutional Advancement staff to create department fundraising goals and strategies; lead all marketing and promotional efforts for the department; oversaw and managed all aspects of annual of booster club program
    • Served as advisor for Student Athlete Advisory Committee

Wittenberg University

  • Provides day-to-day operational support for 25 NCAA Division III sport programs; manages the operation, scheduling, and maintenance of Wittenberg’s athletic facilities and provides support to the Director of Aquatics for the management of the pool.
  • Oversee all aspects of game day management for all home athletics, laundry and equipment and intramurals programming
  • Served as tournament director for 2016 NCAC Volleyball and Women’s Soccer Championships and 2016 NCAA Regional Women’s Soccer Championships
  • Serve on several campus committees: Committee on Athletic Policy and Recreation, Campus Events Planning and Witt Late Night Workgroup

  • Graduate of Kennesaw State University, earning Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management in May of 2009
  • Graduate of Georgia State University, earning Master’s degree in Sport Administration in December of 2010
  • 1-year varsity award winner on Emmanuel College’s Soccer Team
