In 1998, the Wittenberg University Tiger Club was established as the official fundraising program for the Wittenberg University Department of Athletics and Recreation. Nearly 50 percent of Wittenberg students participate in intercollegiate athletics as members of one of the university’s 26 intercollegiate teams.

Donations to the Tiger Club ensure that current and future Wittenberg student-athletes have the finest equipment, the best coaching, and an experience that can be described as “premier” in every way. By offering your support to the Tiger Club, you have the opportunity to make a personal endorsement of the fine tradition of Wittenberg athletics.

All donations make a differences, now more than ever.  Whether you’re an alumni of the university, a parent, a fan, or a friend of the Tigers, there is a way to get involved. Tiger Club members contribute in multiple ways, but even the smallest contribution of treasure, time, or talent makes an immeasurable difference in the effort to provide our students the best academic and athletic experience possible.

Recruiting: Tiger Club members help Wittenberg find the best and brightest student-athletes by identifying skilled prospective student-athletes and assisting the coaching staff in their recruitment efforts. Before doing so, Tiger Club members should contact with the appropriate coach and be familiar with the established Recruiting Guidelines.
